Following on from the Premier’s Stage 4 restrictions update, please find information below regarding further restrictions to onsite student attendance.

From Wednesday 5 August, the criteria for students who can attend onsite has changed to the following:

  • children whose parents are permitted workers, and who are not at home during school hours – if you are working from home your children must undertake online learning at home.
  • vulnerable children in out of home care, children known to child protection and other agencies.
  • children with a disability who also fit one of the above two categories.

The following link from the government indicates which industries are closing and those that are staying open:

This criterion must be adhered to by all members of the community, and as such all parents and guardians who previously enrolled their children for onsite learning this term are asked to reconsider their circumstances to ensure they fit the criteria.  We ask that you please email the school as soon as possible to advise if you still need for your child to attend onsite, also indicating your occupation and working hours in your email. Staff may follow up if further clarification is required.
